Body of 26-year-old woman found floating in Bangalpara pond, stir in carey road

A sense of alarm spread through the community when the lifeless body of a 26-year-old woman, identified as Swapna Mandal, was discovered floating in a pond at Carey Road, Bangalpara, under the jurisdiction of the B. Garden police station.

Swapna, married eight years ago and a mother of two children, had her in-laws' residence in Behala, but she primarily resided at her father's house. The disconcerting incident unfolded when locals spotted her lifeless body in the Bangalpara pond this morning. The discovery has prompted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Swapna Mandal's tragic demise.
